Garden Gown
This was a short project done to exercise design communication and creating tech packs to send to manufacturers. We were instructed to pull from a memory and create a product based around it.

Context
Design intent + mood board
The Planting Fields Arboretum is a historic site in Oyster Bay on Long Island, NY. It is a beautiful property filled with several greenhouses, gardens, and beautiful old architecture. When I visit, it is one of my favorite places to walk around and explore. It feels like you’re in a fairy garden.
This also happens to be the sight of a May wedding I was going to attend. I didn’t have a dress yet, so I wanted to create one for the occasion. I combined my past memories of the Planting Fields with my future memories of the wedding.
